What are micelles?

A micelle is a complex structure composed of gentle non-ionic surfactants, which act as cleansing agents. They take the form of a microsphere, invisible to the naked eye. Micelles have two poles: a hydrophilic pole, which is soluble in water, and a lipophilic pole, which attracts fats, generally insoluble in water.
