What is Wamine St John's Wort Fluid Extract used for?
Wamine St John's Wort Fluid Extract is a dietary supplement for pets, livestock and competition animals. It is produced using a patented process that respects the integrity of the plant, while guaranteeing a stable, standardized concentration of active ingredients.
This supplement is rich in hyperforin and hypericin, two phytoconstituents that give the extract its beneficial properties. Hyperforin is known for its role in modulating neurotransmitters, which can be useful in managing stress and anxiety in various animal species. Hypericin, meanwhile, has antimicrobial and healing properties, useful for skin care.
While the St John's Wort plant is generally considered toxic to horses due to its phototoxic potential, Wamine St John's Wort EPS (Standardized Plant Extract) does not fall into this category. The extracted and standardized form eliminates the risks associated with skin contact and therefore phototoxicity, enabling safer use in the equine population, subject to clinical and veterinary validation.
Wamine St John's Wort extract is suitable for use in companion animals such as dogs and cats, as well as farm animals such as cows and pigs. In these contexts, it can be used for the symptomatic treatment of stress and anxiety, as well as for its antimicrobial properties.
If your animal is prone to stress, whether due to particular situations or personality, St John's Wort fluid plant extract can help calm it. It can be used on an occasional basis, for example before a road trip or a visit to the vet.
Changes in your pet's life, such as the arrival of a new pet or a move, can trigger negative emotions. St John's Wort fluid herbal extract can help support your pet emotionally during these transitions. Even in the absence of stressful situations, Wamine St John's Wort herbal fluid extract can be used to support your pet's general well-being. It can be incorporated into his daily routine to maintain his emotional balance.
