Discover our new range of plant oils selected by our pharmacists and naturopaths, experts in aromatherapy. Each batch of organic vegetable oil is systematically analyzed by a specialized independent laboratory. Organic vegetable oils are used in aromatherapy and cosmetics both to dilute essential oils and to provide new virtues (nourishing, regulating, anti-aging, etc.).
Vegetable oils are indispensable allies in skin care. They are rich in essential nutrients and antioxidants that help moisturize, nourish and regenerate our epidermis. Used as a skin massage, they can have positive effects on our physical and mental health.
Coconut, argan and avocado oils are particularly effective for deeply moisturizing the skin. They can help reduce the signs of aging, such as wrinkles and age spots, by stimulating collagen production and preventing free radical damage.
Rosehip and rose hip oils, meanwhile, are ideal for dry, sensitive skin. They have soothing and healing properties that help calm irritation and treat skin problems such as redness and eczema.
Finally, essential oils such as tea tree oil and lavender oil can add an aromatherapeutic dimension to your skin massage. They can help relax the body and calm the mind, which can improve your overall well-being.
By using plant oils for a skin massage, you can not only nourish and protect your skin, but also enjoy their benefits for your overall health. It's a delicious, revitalizing experience that will leave you feeling more beautiful and fit than ever.
Moisturize your skin and remove make-up with vegetable oils:
On the surface of our skin, our layer of dead cells or stratum corneum is rich in lipids. They contain ceramides, cholesterol and fatty acids... Frequent washing with detergents removes this lipid film.
That's why we recommend using 100% natural plant oils to moisturize the skin and eliminate impurities, so as to reconstitute a lipidic film and keep skin beautiful and healthy.
An essential oil contains a high concentration of aromatic molecules. In rare cases, such as for occasional or localized use, an essential oil can be applied pure to the skin. However, more often than not, as the application becomes more extensive, or the skin becomes more fragile, prior dilution in a suitable carrier becomes essential. The carrier, most often an organic vegetable oil, reduces the aggressiveness of an essential oil, while in turn providing its own benefits. Organic vegetable oils (O.V.) also reveal all their virtues in food.
Choosing the right carrier is therefore essential. Some organic vegetable oils are particularly well-suited to babies' sensitive skin, while others perfectly complement the action of essential oils. The choice of carrier depends on the user's profile (age, skin condition, etc.), the pathology to be treated and the route of administration of the essential oil. In fact, some organic vegetable oils are specifically suited to the oral route, such as walnut oil or olive oil.
Organic vegetable oils are extracted from the fats of certain oleaginous fruits (walnuts, hazelnuts, almonds, etc.), pits (apricots), seeds (grapes) or even seeds (sesame). Like essential oils, organic vegetable oils comply with strict standards. In the same way as for an essential oil, the quality of an organic vegetable oil is controlled by chromatography. Each virgin organic vegetable oil has an identity card containing all the information needed for proper traceability: country of agricultural production, storage, oil analysis reports.
Choose virgin and unrefined. Refined vegetable oils contain trans-fatty acids, which can be harmful to the skin.
Composition rich in fatty acids: Choose vegetable oils rich in polyunsaturated fatty acids and first cold-pressed. Polyunsaturated fatty acids, such as omega-3 and omega-6, are essential and must be supplied to the body through the diet. When applied to the skin, they remain on the surface, in the stratum corneum, where they soften and provide a feeling of hydration.
Choose a plant oil according to its comedogenic index: Prefer low-comedogenic plant oils, i.e. those that do not promote blackheads or that do so only to a limited extent. The comedogenicity index is measured on a scale of 0 to 5.
For oily and acne-prone skin, use indices 0 and 1, or even 2, but avoid 3, 4 and 5. Oils rich in omega-3 are recommended for dry, reactive skin. Omega-3s will soothe inflamed skin thanks to their anti-inflammatory properties...
In a smoked glass bottle, hermetically sealed and protected from light, a vegetable oil will keep for two years.
