Expert advice
Good health depends on following a deworming schedule adapted to the animal's age and living conditions. Almost all puppies are infected with worms, which are transmitted by the mother via the placenta or milk, and through contact with droppings in the environment. Puppies need to be wormed periodically.
Every 2 weeks from 15 days to 2 months of age.
Once a month from 2 to 6 months.
Thereafter, it's advisable to refer to the adult's rhythm, which depends on each situation.
For adult dogs:deworm at least every 3 months, i.e. 4 times a year (once a season).
There's no difference whether you live in the city or the country: all green spaces are naturally contaminated.
