What is Aboca Lenodiar Pediatric used for?

Diarrhea is a common gastrointestinal disorder, defined by irritation and inflammation of the intestinal mucosa, resulting from a variety of causes. This phenomenon is manifested by an increase in fluid secretion and/or a reduction in fluid absorption, often associated with an increase in intestinal motility. These changes in the normal functioning of the intestine disrupt water and electrolyte balance, leading to rapid and frequent expulsion of liquid or semi-liquid stools.

In addition to theabdominal discomfort and pain it causes, diarrhea can lead to significant complications such as dehydration, loss of essential vitamins and minerals, and imbalance in the intestinal flora (microbiota). The latter plays a crucial role in maintaining digestive and immune balance. As a result, microbiota imbalance can exacerbate symptoms and prolong the duration of diarrhea episodes.

Lenodiar Pediatric is specially designed to treat diarrhea of various origins in children aged 1 and over. It is indicated for various forms of diarrhea, whether due to viral infection (e.g., flu syndrome accompanied by diarrhea), functional diarrhea, iatrogenic diarrhea (caused by medication) or traveler's diarrhea. This supplement acts by reducing diarrheal evacuations while respecting intestinal physiology, thus avoiding the undesirable effect of constipation often associated with certain treatments.

Lenodiar Pediatric 's main mechanism of action is based onActitan-F, a plant-based molecular complex derived from chamomile and developed by Aboca Laboratories. Actitan-F acts in a targeted way by reducing diarrheal evacuations and normalizing stool consistency, enabling rapid restoration of intestinal functions. This normalization results in rapid rebalancing of the intestinal microbiota.

Lenodiar Pediatric 's actions can be divided into two main components:

  • Protective action: a protective film is formed on the intestinal mucosa, acting as a physical barrier against irritants and pathogenic micro-organisms. This action limits direct contact between irritants and the mucosa, reducing local inflammation.
  • Antioxidant action: helps reduce inflammation of the intestinal mucosa, a common consequence of diarrhea. By neutralizing free radicals, this action helps to soothe irritation and promote rapid recovery of damaged intestinal tissues.

Thanks to this synergy of actions, Lenodiar Pediatric offers an effective treatment that promotes rapid recovery of intestinal functions, while respecting the natural balance of intestinal flora. Unlike certain treatments that mechanically block stool evacuation, this product acts physiologically without causing constipation, guaranteeing natural, harmonious recovery of digestive function in children.

We also recommend Ultra levure 100 mg sachets antidiarrhéiques enfant, an antidiarrhoeal for children.

How do I use this antidiarrheal for children?

Take 1 sachet every 3 hours, up to a maximum of 4 sachets a day, depending on the intensity of the disorder. Dissolve the contents of one sachet in 10 ml of water (about 1 dessert spoon). If diarrhoea does not improve or worsens despite treatment, please consult your doctor.
