What is Dolophyt Flash Oral Gel used for?

Formulated with herbal ingredients, it is designed to provide relief for the musculoskeletal system in athletic or older horses. A dietary supplement intended for athletic horses prone to musculoskeletal discomfort (joint pain, stiffness, tendon issues). DOLOPHYT FLASH contains no prohibited substances and may be used in competition. DOLOPHYT FLASH is a natural dietary supplement made from plant extracts selected for their anti-inflammatory properties. DOLOPHYT FLASH helps effectively relieve the musculoskeletal system (hooves, tendons, fetlocks, hocks, neck, back, lower back, and pelvis) and quickly provides comfort, flexibility, and well-being to the horse before exercise, thereby enhancing its readiness for work and competition.

Musculoskeletal conditions are the most common cause (74%) of poor performance in horses. They primarily affect the joints, tendons, muscles, feet, and bones. DOLOPHYT and DOLOPHYT FLASH are designed to effectively relieve the horse’s musculoskeletal system by providing a blend of selected herbs.

DOLOPHYT is particularly recommended:

  • for athletic horses experiencing musculoskeletal discomfort or being treated for osteoarthritis,
  • for older or convalescing horses,
  • for horses prone to respiratory or skin problems.

Dolophyt Flash Oral Gel works in combination with carefully selected ingredients to provide effective relief from musculoskeletal problems in horses. Here’s how each component contributes to its mechanism of action:

Dextrose, a form of glucose, is rapidly absorbed by the horse’s body. It provides an immediate source of energy, which can help reduce muscle fatigue and improve mobility.

Sodium chloride is essential for the horse’s electrolyte balance. It helps maintain the osmotic pressure of muscle cells, thereby promoting normal muscle contraction.

Meadowsweet is rich in natural anti-inflammatory compounds, such as flavonoids and salicylates. It works by reducing inflammation in the joints and muscles, which can relieve pain associated with musculoskeletal issues.

Licorice contains glycyrrhizin, a compound with anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties. It helps alleviate muscle and joint discomfort in horses.

Thyme is a natural source of antioxidants such as flavonoids and polyphenols. It helps protect muscle cells from oxidative damage and promotes muscle recovery.

We also offer the Dolophyt oral solution from the Horse Master veterinary laboratory at the best price in our online pharmacy.

How should this oral gel be used?

The dosage of DOLOPHYT should be adjusted based on each horse’s joint condition, weight, and activity level
For a 500-kg horse: administer 10 to 15 ml per day for 15 days; treatment may be repeated
In cases of confirmed joint problems: administer 20 to 25 ml per day for 5 to 10 days, then 10 to 15 ml per day for 15 days (treatment may be repeated)
For older horses or those with persistent discomfort: regular administration of 5 to 10 ml per day may be considered.
