Precautions for use
- In the absence of data on cutaneous resorption, the risk of systemic effects cannot be ruled out. They are all the more likely to occur when the antiseptic is used over a large surface area, under an occlusive dressing, on injured skin, particularly burned skin, mucous membranes, or on the skin of premature babies or infants (due to the surface/weight ratio and the occlusive effect of diapers on the breech area).
- As soon as an antiseptic preparation is opened, microbial contamination is possible.
Contraindications :
- Known hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients, particularly chlorhexidine (or its chemical class) or benzalkonium chloride (of the quaternary ammonium family).
- This product must not be used on mucous membranes, particularly genital mucous membranes (risk of balanitis or erosive vaginitis).
- This product must not be used to disinfect medical and surgical equipment.
- This product must not come into contact with the brain and meninges, the eye, or enter the ear canal in the event of tympanic perforation.
