Contour next 100 test strips to test blood glucose
Ascensia Diabetes Care Contour next test strips are used with the XT Contour Gain Monitor featuring Ascensia Diabetes Care's No Coding technology, without coding or calibration. At each insertion of a new Ascensia Diabetes Care Reactive Stripe Next, the XT contour reader is automatically and instantly calibrated using No Coding technology for secure results.
No coding or calibration is necessary for each batch change of strips, which allows the use of several batches of strips simultaneously.
Description of Contour next 100 Blood Glucose Test Strips
The new Contour Next Sensors from Ascensia Diabetes Care, our latest development in sensor technology, provide, with the new Contour Xt and Contour Next USB blood glucose meter, and Contour Next One, high-precision blood glucose measurement results. thus represent our new dimension of measurement accuracy.
The Contour Next sensors automatically code. The measured blood glucose levels are very accurate and correct and therefore reliable.
You get very accurate measurement results after only five seconds - the small amount of blood that is only 0.6 μl of blood is enough for that.
Directions for using Contour next 100 test strips self-monitoring blood glucose
Advantages :
- Precise technology made especially for you
- Highly resistant to many environmental influences
- Very high measurement accuracy for your safety
This winning combination of indicator and sensor leverages innovative technology, giving you even better blood glucose results than those obtained in the lab.
The new Contour Next USB set is especially accurate when blood glucose is low - which is important to help you detect and act on hypoglycemia (low blood sugar).
Technical characteristics
The next contour strips feature a new Ascensia Diabetes Care Proprietary Mediator (BPM), an Ascensia Diabetes Care proprietary patented device. Thus, the glycemic results are not affected by the reducing substances present in the blood, whether of endogenous origin (bilirubin, cholesterol, triglycerides ...) or exogenous (paracetamol, vitamin C, ascorbic acid ...) .
The next contour test strips are provided with the enzyme FAD-GDH (flavin adenine dinucleotide glucose dehydrogenase) which has no interference with maltose, galactose, and oxygen. contour XT can therefore be used by patients undergoing peritoneal dialysis using an icodextrin solution.
Broad hematocrit range, 0 to 70%.
Precaution of use and Interferences
Reducing substances normally present in the blood (uric acid, bilirubin) or following a treatment (ascorbic acid, paracetamol) do not modify the results significantly. Interference may occur when the concentration limit values for these substances are higher than those indicated below.
- Bilirubin> 54 mg / dl (> 0.9 mmol / l)
- Uric acid> 59 mg / dl (> 3.5 mmol / l)
- Ascorbic acid> 10 mg / dl (> 0.6 mmol / l)
- Paracetamol> 35 mg / dl (> 2.3 mmol / l)
- Maltose No interference
- Galactose No interference
- Hematocrit The results provided by the Contour Next test strips are not significantly modified when the hematocrit value is between 0% and 70%
Do not use during or shortly after the xylose absorption test.
