What is the composition?
This aerial plant likes the scrubland of southern Europe and limestone soils, fears the cold and has pale violet flowers arranged in loose spikes at the top of long stems. It blooms and harvests later than true lavender. Organic lavender aspic provides an essential oil that can be described as "miraculous" in its ability to soothe and heal severe burns and wasp stings almost instantly. Having needed it in these circumstances proves, if anything, that aromatherapy is a medicine in its own right.
