Savory Thyme essential oil is used to combat exhaustion. It is highly effective in preventing winter ailments.

Phytosun Aroms' Savory Leaf Thyme essential oil is a product concentrated in various health-promoting molecules. Composed mainly of borneol, alpha terpineol, thymol, camphene and carvacrol, this essential oil offers a wide range of therapeutic properties.

Savory Leaf Thyme essential oil is recognized for its broad-spectrum antibacterial activity. The carvacrol, alpha terpineol and borneol contained in this oil are powerful bactericidal agents, effectively combating various types of bacterial infections, including resistant nosocomial infections. It is also effective against fungi such as Candida albicans, Saccharomyces cerevisiae and Aspergillus niger, as well as dermatophytes.

This essential oil contains terpenes that stimulate numerous bodily functions, making it an excellent general tonic. It thus helps maintain good health and vitality. Savory Leaf Thyme is also recognized for its anti-asthenic properties, helping to combat temporary bouts of fatigue and restore physical and mental energy. How to use this essential oil

Oral use: *** Skin use: * Diffusion: FORBIDDEN

Internal use: 3 times daily, 2 drops of Savory Thyme essential oil mixed with honey or olive oil, placed on a sugar cube or directly under the tongue.

External use: Mix 3 drops of Savory Thyme essential oil with 5 drops of vegetable oil and apply 3 times a day to painful areas.

Exhaustion (adults): 1 drop of Savory Thyme essential oil + 1 drop of Siberian Fir essential oil + 1 drop of Laurel essential oil, 2 drops of essential oils from this mixture on a neutral tablet 3 times a day for 5 days.

Prevention of winter ailments (adults): 1 drop of Savory Thyme essential oil + 1 drop of Peppermint essential oil + 1 drop of Eucalyptus globulus essential oil, 2 drops of this mixture on a neutral tablet 2 times a day.
Friction of a few drops of essential oil on arms and legs before muscular effort.

Precautions for use with Savory Thyme essential oil

  • Do not diffuse
  • Do not use on children under 6 years of age, or on pregnant or breast-feeding women.
  • May cause skin irritation (dermocaustic) when used undiluted.
