Osteocynesin is a homeopathic medicine traditionally used in the symptomatic treatment of decalcifications and consolidations of fractures . Bone decalcification is the decrease in bone calcium content which is a metalloid that reinforces the bone matrix.
Instructions for use Osteocynesin
There are 4 main types of bone decalcification:
- Osteoporosis
- Osteomalacia
- Cancerous osteosis
- Hyperparathyroidism
Osteokinesin Dosage
Reserved for adults and children from 6 years old.
2 tablets 2 or 3 times a day.
Suck, swallow or crush the tablets in a little water.
Method and route of administration of Osteocynesin tablets
Sublingual route (tablet to melt under the tongue)
In children from 18 months to 6 years old: dissolve the tablet in a little water before taking, because of the risk of misdirection. As soon as age permits, let the tablets dissolve under the tongue.
Duration of treatment with Osteocynesin
The duration of treatment should not exceed one week.
Bone pain (mechanical or inflammatory) is the main symptom of decalcification. These pains are diffuse and affect the entire spine or a whole limb, or the whole body. Myalgia (muscle pain) is often associated. Spontaneous fractures and microfractures are frequent and responsible for pain.
In the event of an overdose of Osteocynesin
If you take more OSTEOCYNESINE, orodispersible tablet than you should:
Immediately consult your doctor or pharmacist.
In case of omission of one or more doses of Osteocynesin
If you have missed a dose of OSTEOCYNESINE, orodispersible tablet:
Do not take a double dose to make up for the dose you forgot to take
Pregnancy and Lactation with Osteocynesin
Ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking any medicine.
In the absence of experimental and clinical data, and as a precaution, the use of this medication should be avoided during pregnancy and lactation.
Composition of Osteokinesin
Excipients with known effect: This medicinal product contains lactose
Active homeopathic substances:
- Calcarea ostreica 3 DH
- Calcarea fluorica 3 DH
- Calcarea phosphorica 3 DH
- Sulfur iodatum 4 CH
Excipients: sucrose, lactose, magnesium stearate qsp 1 tablet of 0.3 g
Contraindication of Osteocynesin
Never use OSTEOCYNESINE, orodispersible tablet:
· In children under 18 months.
If you are allergic (hypersensitive) to the active substances or to one of the components contained in CORYZALIA, orodispersible tablet.
Possible interactions with Osteocynesin
If you are taking or have recently taken any other medicines, including medicines obtained without a prescription, tell your doctor or pharmacist.
This medication is to be taken between meals.
Side effects of Osteokinesin
Like all medicines, OSTEOCYNESINE, orodispersible tablet can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.
If you notice any side effects not listed in this leaflet, or if any side effects get serious, please tell your doctor or pharmacist.
Storage conditions
Store at a temperature not exceeding 30°C
Precautions and warnings with Osteocynesin
If you have been told by your doctor that you have an intolerance to certain sugars, contact them before taking this medicine.
The use of this medication is not recommended in patients with galactose intolerance, Lapp lactase deficiency or glucose or galactose malabsorption syndrome (rare hereditary diseases).
