Fiprodog 402 mg Très Grand Chien 3 Pipettes is recommended for the treatment of flea (Ctenocephalides sp.) and tick (Dermacentor reticulatus) infestations. Insecticidal efficacy against new adult flea infestations lasts up to 8 weeks.Acaricidal efficacy against ticks (Rhipicephalus sanguineus, Ixodes ricinus, Dermacentor reticulatus) lasts up to 3 weeks.
If ticks of certain species (Rhipicephalus sanguineus and Ixodes ricinus) are present when the product is applied, they may not all be killed within the first 48 h, but may be within the first week. The product can be integrated into a therapeutic program for the treatment of Dermatitis by Hypersensitivity to Flea Bites (D.H.P.P.) if this has been previously diagnosed by the veterinarian.

Route of administration and dosage. For external use only. Apply Fiprodog 402 mg Très Grand Chien directly to the skin according to the animal's weight, as follows: 1 pipette of 4.02 ml for a dog weighing between 40 kg and 60 kg.
Take care to apply the product to an area that the animal cannot lick, and ensure that animals do not lick each other after treatment.
Do not apply an excessive amount of product to a single spot, to prevent the hair from becoming sticky. However, if this happens, the stickiness will disappear within 24 hours of application.
Wait 48 hours after bathing or swimming to apply the product and, conversely, wait 48 hours after application to bathe. This is the time needed for the product to diffuse throughout the body and store in the skin.
Spread the hair well apart (making a neat parting) and deposit the product on the SKIN. Anything that falls on the hair will not diffuse well over the rest of the body.
Wash your hands thoroughly after application, and avoid stroking your dog at the application site for 2 hours.
We've found that some pipettes are highly effective against fleas, but less so for ticks. In this case, we advise you to combine a flea collar (Scalibor ND, which lasts 6 months) with the flea pipettes.
Precautions for use
Do not use on puppies under 2 months of age and/or weighing less than 2 kg, in the absence of available information. Do not use on sick (systemic diseases, fever...) or convalescent animals. Do not use in rabbits. Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to the active ingredient or any of the excipients. This product has been specifically developed for dogs. Do not use in cats, to avoid overdosing.
