Tick-Puss 2,5mg Biocanina Spray 100ml on sale in our organic pharmacy, acts on external parasites such as fleas, ticks and lice contaminating your pets, providing effective, long-lasting protection.

What is Tick-Puss 2.5mg Biocanina Spray used for?

Tick-Puss 2.5 mg Biocanina 100 ml is a fipronil-based anti-flea skin spray specially designed for dogs and cats, offering up to 3 months' protection. Fipronil is an insecticide and acaricide belonging to the phenylpyrazole family. It acts by inhibiting the GABA complex, binding to the chlorine channel and thus blocking the pre- and post-synaptic passage of chloride ions across the cell membrane.

This results in uncontrolled central nervous system activity and the death of insects or mites. Insecticidal efficacy against new adult flea infestations persists for up to 6 weeks in cats and up to 3 months in dogs, depending on the environmental context. The product's acaricidal efficacy against ticks lasts 4 weeks, depending on environmental infestation pressure.

How to use this flea spray?

To moisten the coat down to the skin, apply 3 to 6 ml per kg of body weight (i.e. 7.5 to 15 mg of fipronil per kg of body weight), depending on hair length.

This dosage can be achieved with 6 to 12 sprays per kg bodyweight. Depending on hair length:
- The 100 ml presentation gun sprays 0.5 ml per spray. It treats a 4 kg cat 4 to 8 times, or a 10 kg dog up to 3 times.

Spray the product all over the animal's coat from a distance of around 10-20 cm. Apply in the opposite direction to hair growth, ensuring that the entire coat is moistened. Massage the coat, especially on long-haired animals, to ensure that the product penetrates all the way to the skin.

For treatment of the area around the head, or to treat young or nervous animals, application can be made by first spraying the product onto a glove and then rubbing the glove into the coat. Allow to air dry. Do not use a towel to dry the animal.

We understand the importance of simple, precise application for pet owners. Tick-Puss 2.5mg Biocanina Spray is designed to meet these specific needs:

  • Ease of Application: The spray is easy to use, allowing precise application to your pet's coat without mess or fuss.
  • Fast-acting: It works quickly to kill parasites, avoiding prolonged discomfort for your pet.
  • Odorless: The spray is odorless, providing a comfortable experience for you and your pet.
