  • meibomian dysfunctions,

They gently cleanse secretions, impurities and crusts from the eye, eyelids and lashes, and soothe red, inflamed and sore eyelids, itching, irritation and eyelid discomfort. Ophtaxia wipes also facilitate drainage of the Meibomus glands.

We also offer you Ecrinal Gel Fortifiant Cil et Sourcils 9 ml, at the best price in our online pharmacy.

How to use Ophtaxia Eyelid Care Hygiene Wipe?

Daily eye cleansing: after washing your hands, open the packaging and take out the Ophtaxia wipe. Unfold the wipe and wipe gently over the edge of the eyelids and eyelashes, keeping the eye closed.
In the event of difficult-to-remove secretions, inflammation of the eyelid margin (conjunctivitis, blepharo-conjunctivitis, stye) or occlusion of the tear duct, it's best to apply a warm, moist compress to the affected area. To do this, warm the still-sealed pack by immersing it in lukewarm water (40°C) for 3 to 5 minutes.
Once warm, open the package, take out the Ophtaxia wipe and, keeping it folded, gently massage the area for 1-2 minutes, keeping the eye closed.
Once warmed up, the wipe should be used within a few minutes or discarded.

For daily eye cleansing: After washing your hands, remove the wipe from its packaging and gently wipe the edge of your eyelids and lashes, keeping your eye closed.

Our expert advice in pharmacy

Ophtaxia is a soft, non-woven, single-use wipe. Its ingredients moisturize and cleanse eyelids and lashes. Ophtaxia gently and thoroughly cleanses the peri-ocular area on a daily basis. Ophtaxia is particularly recommended for inflammatory reactions around the edges of the eyelids. In the case of difficult-to-remove secretions, inflammation of the eyelid margin (conjunctivitis, blepharo-conjunctivitis, stye) and occlusion of the lacrimal duct, it's best to apply a warm, moist compress to the affected area.
