Ophthalmic Emulsion 10ml Cationorm is a sterile ophthalmic emulsion, hypotonic, preservative-free, which is in the form of a milky liquid.
Cationorm is indicated for the treatment of symptoms of dry eye, such as tingling, itching, eye burning or foreign body sensation in the eye (sensation of a grain of sand or dust).
Ocular use. The recommended dose is 1 to 4 drop (s) per day in each eye.
Mineral oils, glycerol, tyloxapol, poloxamer 188, tris-hydrochloride, tromethamine, cetalkonium chloride (CKC) and water for injection (single dose) or purified water (multidose).

Unidoses of 0.4 ml, box of 30 (ACL 34010 4788864 9 ).
Multidose bottle of 10 ml (ACL 34010 9798867 2 ).
Mineral oils, glycerol, tyloxapol, poloxamer 188, tris-hydrochloride, tromethamine, cetalkonium chloride (CKC) and water ppi (unidose) or purified water (multidose). Without Conservative agent.
Treatment of dry eye symptoms, such as tingling, itching, burning eyes or foreign body sensation in the eye (feeling of grain of sand or dust). These symptoms can be caused by external factors, such as air conditioning, pollution, air travel, screen work, refractive surgery, wearing of contact lenses, etc., or by pathologies such as the dysfunction of the Meibomian glands.
Cationorm is an emulsion that improves the stabilization of the tear film and moisturizes, lubricates and protects the ocular surface. It acts on the three layers of the tear film. The lubricating action is related to the oily component of the product that will strengthen the lipid layer, often altered in case of dry eye. The cationic charge allows a better spread of the emulsion on the negatively charged ocular surface, thereby protecting the latter.

Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to any of the components.
Do not use to treat other eye conditions.
Cationorm is compatible with all types of contact lenses.
Avoid eye contact with the tip of the unit dose or vial.
No interaction studies were performed. In case of instillation of several eye drops, it is advisable to wait at least 5 minutes between each eye drops and use Cationorm last.
In very rare cases, transient disorders such as eye irritation, eye pain, foreign body sensation in the eye, redness of the eye, itchy eyes, watery eyes, burning eyes, blurred vision transient inflammation of the eyelids or eyelid edema may occur. These symptoms are also part of the typical symptomatology of dry eye syndrome. They are indeed related to underlying ocular conditions in patients with dry eye.
Cationorm should be stored in its original packaging at room temperature.
Single dose should be used immediately after opening and discarding after use.
The multidose vial must be used within three months after the first opening.
Shelf life: 3 years.

Prescription by an ophthalmologist after diagnosis of keratitis or keratoconjunctivitis sicca, in particular by a colorimetric test performed with a slit lamp. Initial prescription not exceeding 6 months of treatment. Renewal authorized after ophthalmological examination.
