What is Vismed Multi eye lubricant used for?

This lubricant is a solution for dry eyes. Thanks to its new dosing system, it's very economical, easy to use and lasts longer (up to 3 months after opening).

How do I use Vismed Multi eye lubricant?

1. Remove tamper-evident ring before first use.
2. Remove protective cap.
3. Tilt the head back and position the tip of the bottle over the eye to be treated.
4. Pull the lower eyelid down with the index finger of one hand.
5. Squeeze the body of the bottle and a drop of Vismed Multi will flow easily.
6. Unless otherwise recommended, instill 1 to 2 drops of Vismed Multi into the eye as often as necessary.
7. A few blinks of the eyelids will ensure that the solution is evenly distributed over the ocular surface in a clear, long-lasting film.

VISMED® MULTI can be used while wearing contact lenses (rigid or soft).

Directions for use

• Do not touch the open tip of the bottle, and do not touch the surface of the eye with the tip of the bottle.
• Replace the VISMED® MULTI protective cap after use.
• Do not use Vismed Multi if the bottle is damaged.
• Vismed Multi can be used up to 6 months after initial use.
• Any solution not used within 6 months of opening should be discarded. Otherwise, sterility is no longer guaranteed, and there may be a risk of infection.
• Store below 30°C.
• Do not freeze.
• Do not use VISMED® MULTI after the expiration date indicated on the bottle and carton.
• If symptoms persist while using VISMED® MULTI, consult a physician.
  Keep out of reach of children.

Composition

1 ml solution contains 1.8 mg sodium hyaluronate, sodium chloride, potassium chloride, disodium phosphate, sodium citrate, magnesium chloride, calcium chloride and purified water.

The solution is hypotonic.
