Poly-Karaya Granulé 30 Sachets 10g contains a mucilage thatregulates intestinal transit (karaya gum) and a digestive dressing (crospovidone) to protect the digestive tract and combat gas production. It is used in the symptomatic treatment of intestinal transit disorders such as diarrhea, constipation and bloating.

Precautions for use

Take care with POLY-KARAYA, granules:

  • Due to the presence of sucrose, this medicine MUST NOT BE USED in cases of fructose intolerance, glucose-galactose malabsorption syndrome or sucrase-isomaltase deficiency (rare metabolic diseases).
  • In cases of megacolon (dilatation of part or all of the large intestine), this medicine should be used with caution.
  • This medicine contains 3.55 g of sucrose per sachet (maximum daily quantity of 10.65 g): take this into account in your daily intake if you are on a low-sugar diet or have diabetes.
  • If in doubt, ask your doctor or chemist for advice.
