How do I use this clay?

Using clay for plasters:

The clay paste is applied either directly to the skin, or with a cloth or paper bag.

In principle, it should be applied for 1 to 2 hours, or all night for some people, for practical reasons.

But within 1 to 2 hours, the clay will have done its job. Longer durations only bring the possible benefits of forced immobilization, of a joint for example.

Appropriate care :

For greater effectiveness, clay poultices can be applied and kept moist for the duration of the treatment. But don't use plastic or synthetic film, which prevents the clay from "breathing". The treatment must remain natural! And retain the original purity of the clay. Air circulation is also important.

Slightly moisten by pouring a little water over the plaster

For certain applications, such as light burns or wounds, it's advisable to place a gauze pad between the clay and the weakened epidermis. This gauze compress enables the clay to be removed painlessly.

For superficial cuts and stings, you can dip the finger directly into the clay for a few minutes, then apply the clay with a small bandage. But not in a pot of healthy clay, of course, so as not to contaminate the pot!
