What is Le Comptoir Aroma Organic Ginger Essential Oil 5ml used for?

Rheumatism, headaches... Ginger is a precious ally for relieving inflammation and pain! Why? "Because it prevents the production of prostaglandins, hormones which are precursors to inflammatory mechanisms". Ginger belongs to the Zingiberaceae botanical family, and its producing organ is the rhizome. Le Comptoir Aroma Organic Ginger Essential Oil is suitable for diffusion, massage, bath and oral use.

Le Comptoir Aroma Organic Ginger Essential Oil is indicated for colds and motion sickness, as it reduces nausea and also treats digestive disorders. Ginger Organic Essential Oil is used in massages for joint or muscle stiffness (sprains, dislocations, torticollis, strains, etc.). It can also be used as a mouthwash for toothache.

The gingerols and shogaols contained in ginger act directly on the mucous membrane of the stomach, making it an effective remedy against nausea and vomiting. This antiemetic action is particularly useful for relieving post-operative nausea.

The α-zingiberene stimulates gastric secretions and intestinal peristalsis, promoting better digestion. In addition, the citrals present in ginger essential oil reduce intestinal spasms, relieving abdominal pain and improving intestinal transit.

Ginger essential oil has anti-inflammatory properties, making it an effective remedy for joint and muscle pain. Studies have shown that topical application of this essential oil can reduce knee and other joint pain.

Ginger also possesses antimicrobial properties, enabling it to fight viral and bacterial infections. It is effective against cold and herpes viruses, as well as lung, urinary tract and intestinal infections.

Studies have shown that ginger can induce apoptosis (programmed cell death) in certain cancer cells, making it a potential anti-cancer agent. It can also inhibit cancer cell growth, making it a useful adjunct in the treatment of cancer.

Le Comptoir Aroma, the specialist aromatherapy laboratory, also offersGrapefruit essential oil at the best price in our online pharmacy.
