What is Le Comptoir Aroma Huile Essentielle Hélichryse Bio 10ml used for?

Helichryse italienne, also known as Immortelle de Corse, is a sub-shrub that looks like a small bush. This pretty plant with yellow flowers grows wild in Corsica. Be careful not to confuse helichrysum italicum ssp serotino, the true Corsican Immortelle, with helichrysum italicum ssp italicum, which is found in the Balkans and Italy. Their compositions, and therefore their properties, are different. The quality of Corsican Immortelle essential oil is superior to that of other origins, thanks to a lower content of terpenes, which can be irritating, and a high concentration of neryl acetate.

Le Comptoir Aroma Organic Helichrysum Essential Oil is excellent for healing wounds and preventing bleeding. Helichrysum essential oil, 100% pure and natural, is an effective anti-haematoma agent that also treats phlebitis and limits the appearance of varicose veins.

Helichrysum essential oil is recognized for its remarkable healing properties. Its beneficial action on skin tissue regeneration makes it an ideal choice for treating wounds. This essential oil stimulates the production of collagen, an essential protein for tissue repair, promoting rapid, effective healing. What's more, its anti-inflammatory properties reduce the risk of infection and inflammation associated with wounds, ensuring an optimal healing process. Applied locally to the wound, it also promotes better blood circulation, contributing to faster regeneration of damaged skin tissue.

Thanks to its anti-hematoma properties, Helichrysum essential oil is an effective remedy for bruises and swelling caused by contusions. Its vasoconstrictor action tightens blood vessels and reduces blood leakage into tissues, thus limiting hematoma formation. It also promotes the resorption of bruises by accelerating the elimination of cellular debris and stagnant fluids. Its anti-inflammatory effect also relieves the pain and discomfort associated with hematomas and bruises, providing fast, effective relief.

Helichrysum essential oil is renowned for its vasotonic and circulatory properties, making it an invaluable ally in the treatment of venous problems such as phlebitis and varicose veins. By reinforcing blood vessel walls, it improves venous circulation, enabling blood to return efficiently to the heart. This action helps reduce edema, heaviness and pain associated with venous disorders. What's more, its anti-inflammatory action helps reduce inflammation of the vein walls, promoting rapid and lasting relief of symptoms.

Immortelle essential oil, symbol of love and sustainability Immortelle essential oil, symbol of love and sustainability

Immortelle, whose botanical name is Helichrysum italicum, belongs to the Asteraceae family. Its essential oil is obtained by distilling its aerial flowering parts. Immortelle is found in Corsica in the taxon"ssp italicum" for coastal, scrubland and scree plantations. The taxon"ssp serotinum", which is more continental, is practically non-existent in Corsica. Helichrysum italicum subsp. italicum is the Italian immortelle proper. Helichrysum…
