What is the purpose of the Scholl Velvet Smooth Extra Exfoliating Electric Rasp?

The Scholl Velvet Smooth rasp has been specially designed to remove calluses and corns under the feet. Thanks to its roller with extra-exfoliating micro-grains, the School Velvet Smooth electric rasp softens skin, removing tough, stubborn calluses in just a few minutes.

Use regular strokes with light to medium pressure on calluses and you'll see dead skin disappear. Its ergonomically designed handle makes it a pleasure to use.

How to use the Scholl Velvet Smooth Electric Foot Rasp?

First use:
1. Unscrew the base anti-clockwise.
2. Remove the base from the unit, then remove the red tab from the insulation.
3. Replace the unit base, then screw clockwise until secure.
4. Follow the instructions below for regular use.

Regular use :
1. Check that the roller is firmly seated in the unit. Do not use without securing the roller.
2. Turn on the device by rotating the grey metalized ring to the left, then gently pass the roller over the calluses and the dead skin will gradually disappear. For use on dry skin only. Do not press too hard, or the machine will stop.
3. Switch off and check if the desired smoothness has been achieved. If not, switch on again and repeat the operation until the desired softness is achieved. Caution: Do not stroke the same area for more than 3-4 seconds at a time. Stop in the event of skin irritation or inflammation.
4. Switch off the device by turning the grey metal ring to the right.
5. Wipe or rinse your feet to remove any residual dead skin.
6. Dry your feet thoroughly and apply a moisturizing cream for perfectly soft feet.

Cleaning after use :
The Scholl Velvet Smooth™ Electric Anti-Callus Rasp with Diamond Crystals* is not water-resistant. Detach and wash the roller to clean the surface.
1. Switch off the appliance.
2. Gently remove the roller from the unit by pressing the release button on the side.
3. Rinse the roller under the tap.
4. Clean the grater body with a clean, damp cloth.
5. Dry roller and rasp with a clean, dry cloth.
6. Replace the roller.

Replace the roller:
Replace the roller when you feel the rasp is becoming less effective. Make sure the unit is switched off, remove the roller and replace it. Use only Scholl Velvet Smooth™ replacement rollers.

Replacing batteries
Caution: Do not mix used and new batteries, or alkaline batteries with conventional batteries. Do not use rechargeable batteries. Used batteries must be recycled.
1. Unscrew the base counter-clockwise.
2. Remove the base from the unit, then remove the used batteries.
3. Insert 4 new AA batteries in the direction indicated on the unit.
4. Replace the base, then screw clockwise until secure.

Precautions for use

Keep out of reach of children. Do not use on cracked, sore or irritated skin. Do not immerse in water. Do not use if you have diabetes or poor circulation.
