Coséquin is therefore particularly beneficial for ageing dogs, or after joint surgery. It can also be used to maintain the well-being of the dog's bladder. Cosequin DS is a patented formula containing 2 exclusive sources of highly assimilable chondroitin sulfate and glucosamine, acting in synergy.

Thanks to its composition (chondroitin, glucosamine and manganese), Cosequin provides all the nutrients essential to support cartilage and help maintain its integrity (essential for good mobility).

Cosequin DS is formulated with an advanced combination of key ingredients that work together to support your dog's joint health. The main active ingredients in this product are

• Chondroitin Sulfate: Each tablet contains 400 mg of chondroitin sulfate, an essential compound for maintaining joint mobility and healthy cartilage.
• Glucosamine: Each tablet contains 500 mg glucosamine, which plays a crucial role in the formation and repair of cartilage, while helping to reduce joint inflammation.

How to use these tablets

For a dog weighing between 10 and 25 kg: 1 capsule a day
For 1 dog from 25 to 50 kg: 1 to 2 capsules a day
For a dog over 50 kg: 2 capsules a day

What are the precautions for use?

For optimum response, we recommend starting with a double dose during an attack phase lasting 4 to 6 weeks, then moving on to the maintenance phase at the normal dose. This dosage should enable the right balance to be found for the animal, depending on its condition and activity.

If your dog is perfectly stabilized, you may consider switching to 1 day out of 2.

Cosequin can be used continuously or as a 1-2 month course of treatment, to be repeated 3 or 4 times a year.
