What is Docteur Valnet Grapefruit Organic Essential Oil used for?
Grapefruit essential oil has anti-arrhythmic, disinfectant (aerial diffusion) and skin-tightening properties. It is also a digestive tonic.
Native to Malaysia, grapefruit (Citrus paradisi - Rutaceae family) was already cultivated in China over 2000 years before our era. Its essential oil is ideal for digestion. Grapefruit is a friend of the gallbladder
Docteur Valnet's organic Grapefruit essential oil is rich in limonene, a compound with multiple hepatoprotective virtues. Its choleretic and detoxifying action stimulates bile secretion by the liver, optimizing digestion and detoxification. By supporting cytochromes P-450 and phase 2 enzymes such as glutathione-S-transferase, this essential oil proves to be a real shield for your liver, protecting it and reinforcing its essential functions.
Nature has endowed Grapefruit with antibacterial and antiviral power, embodied in the essence of this citrus fruit. Limonene, the main constituent of organic Grapefruit essential oil, is remarkably effective against bacteria such as antibiotic-resistant Staphylococcus aureus, viruses such as HSV and fungi. This oil is a natural answer to maintaining a healthy balance in your personal microbiological environment.
The limonene contained in Grapefruit essential oil also plays a soothing role on the digestive system, reducing nausea and acidity in cases of gastro-oesophageal reflux. This beneficial effect is complemented by a regulating action on scalp sebum, offering a natural solution to skin imbalances. Incorporating this essence into your body and hair care routine helps maintain healthy skin and hair, reflecting your inner well-being.
