Cerederm for which types of scars?
Most scars are caused by burns, surgery, accidents, dermatological reactions...
Cerederm® Gels are recommended for the curative treatment of surgical scars, hypertrophic (raised, reddish) and keloid scars.
(raised, reddish-colored) and keloid scars (thick, firm, fi bre growths).
The Gel is for strictly personal use (single patient) and must not be used by another person.
What are the results of Cerederm Gels?
Visible after 2 to 3 months of use. More supple, flatter and less red, scars are visibly reduced.
For optimum effectiveness, Cerederm® Gel should cover the area around the scar by more than one centimetre. It should be applied daily for a treatment period of 2 to 6 months.
Instructions for use and dosage
- Inspect the scar and clean it at least once a day with clear water and a neutral soap.
- Dry skin thoroughly before applying gel.
- Apply a thin layer of gel in a single motion, without trying to force it into the skin. Leave to dry for a few minutes.
- Close the tube carefully after use.
We recommend applying CEREDERM® Gel 2 times a day (morning and evening).

Cerederm® is contraindicated for :
- Mucous membranes
- Ulcers
- Oozing
- Open wounds
- Eschar
- Unhealed burn
Instructions for use
CEREDERM® Gel must never be applied to mucous membranes.
Avoid contact with eyes.
In the event of prolonged cutaneous reaction, discontinue treatment and consult your doctor.
CEREDERM® Gel is for external use only.
Failure to observe the precautions for use of CEREDERM® Gel may lead to complications and compromise proper healing.
Apply CEREDERM® Gel twice a day (morning and evening).
CEREDERM® Gel does not protect against UV rays.
The expiration date is indicated on the box. CEREDERM® Gel should be stored at room temperature (not exceeding 25°C).
Recommended duration of treatment: 2 to 6 months.
Application of CEREDERM® Gel may result in side effects such as skin reactions (erythema, pruritus, etc.), wound breakdown or pain. Adherence to precautions for use and contraindications will help limit these side effects. In the event of a side effect, temporary discontinuation of CEREDERM ® Gel is recommended. Treatment can be resumed as soon as the situation returns to normal.
