Description of Cerederm Silicone Gel Scar Treatment

What is Cerederm?

Invisible and easy to use, CEREDERM® Gel is indicated for the treatment and prevention of hypertrophic and keloid scars, whatever their origin.
Silicone gel relieves itching, softens scars and reduces redness. Medical-grade silicone smoothes scars and limits their
its evolution.
All Cerederm® Gel components have been selected for their biocompatibility. Particular care has been taken in the development of medical-grade silicone.

Cerederm for which types of scars?

Most scars are caused by burns, surgery, accidents, dermatological reactions...
Cerederm® Gels are recommended for the curative treatment of surgical scars, hypertrophic (raised, reddish) and keloid scars.
(raised, reddish-colored) and keloid scars (thick, firm, fi bre growths).
The Gel is for strictly personal use (single patient) and must not be used by another person.

What are the results of Cerederm Gels?

Visible after 2 to 3 months of use. More supple, flatter and less red, scars are visibly reduced.

For optimum effectiveness, Cerederm® Gel should cover the area around the scar by more than one centimetre. It should be applied daily for a treatment period of 2 to 6 months.

Instructions for use and dosage

  1. Inspect the scar and clean it at least once a day with clear water and a neutral soap.
  2. Dry skin thoroughly before applying gel.
  3. Apply a thin layer of gel in a single motion, without trying to force it into the skin. Leave to dry for a few minutes.
  4. Close the tube carefully after use.

We recommend applying CEREDERM® Gel 2 times a day (morning and evening).
