Cantharis Vesicatoria is a homeopathic remedy made from the Spanish fly, also known as cantharides. It is particularly indicated in urology to reduce the manifestation of cystitis and to treat pathologies affecting micturition. This remedy also treats cases of otitis and eczema in children, and is effective in relieving certain inflammations and irritations in the ENT sphere. It also cures gastric discomfort and prevents acid reflux. Dosage varies according to the severity and symptoms of the pathologies to be treated. As a general rule, however, the remedy should be taken until symptoms disappear.

Directions for use and dosage
Remove tab, invert Cantharis tube and pull cap slightly. Turn the tube to drop the desired number of granules into the cap, then place the granules under the tongue. Do not touch Cantharis 4CH, 5CH, 7CH, 9CH, 15CH, 30CH homeopathic granules with your fingers.
Recommended urological dosage: To reduce pain in the lower abdomen, the recommended dose of Cantharis Vesicatoria 5CH is 3 granules, taken every 30 minutes.
The same dosage is prescribed to combat the constant urge to urinate. If the patient's condition does not improve after a certain time, it is advisable to consult a doctor.
Recommended dermatological dosage: To relieve itching caused by insect bites, take 5 granules of Cantharis Vesicatoria 9 CH 3 times a day. To alleviate burning, take 5 granules of Cantharis Vesicatoria 15 CH every 2 hours until the pain subsides. In the case of eczema, dosage depends on severity and symptoms. Thus, if eczema improves with cold applications, take 2 granules of Cantharis Vesicatoria 7 CH 5 times a day for 2 days, then the same dosage 3 times a day until the rash disappears.
Recommended dosage for gastroenterology
Three doses a day of 3 granules of Cantharis Vesicatoria CH 9 are prescribed to patients with gastric pain and heartburn. For acid reflux, take 3 granules of Cantharis Vesicatoria 7 CH, 2 to 3 times a day.
Recommended dosage for ENT and ophthalmological disorders
To treat otitis, take 5 granules of Cantharis Vesicatoria 9 CH every half-hour. If the patient's condition improves, the dosage can be reduced to 5 granules 3 times a day. And to relieve burning sensations in the eyes, particularly those accompanied by small warts at the edge of the upper eyelids, place 5 granules of Cantharis Vesicatoria 9 CH under the tongue.
Do not take astringent substances within half an hour of taking homeopathic medicines, such as coffee, tobacco, camphor, mint and chamomile.
Use a mint-free toothpaste (such as Homéodent Boiron, which is compatible with homeopathic granules).

Cantharis Vesicatoria is a homeopathic medicine synthesized from an insect called cantharide, better known as Spanish fly, belonging to the Meloidae family. The mother tincture used to prepare this remedy is obtained from the whole dried fly. The resulting substance is particularly rich in mineral salts, notably phosphate, but also uric acid, lipids and cantharidin.
