Our advice and expert opinions
Invisible and easy to use, Cerederm® is a self-adhesive silicone dressing for the treatment of scars. The components of Cerederm® have been selected for their biocompatibility. Particular care has been taken in the development of medical-grade silicone. The intrinsic properties of the dressing, combined with the technology developed, guarantee perfect adhesion to the skin and pain-free removal.
- We recommend checking and cleaning the scar at least once a day with clear water and neutral soap.
- Proceed in the same way with the dressing (cleaning half its surface area to facilitate repositioning).
- The dressing should be worn daily for two to three days (ideally 24 hours a day). A dressing should not be used for more than 5 days, and should be replaced as soon as its adhesive properties deteriorate.
- To make it easier to reposition the bandage, it's best to stick it on your (clean) mirror while taking a shower.
Please note that the plaster does not protect against UV rays.
Can these dressings be used on recent scars?
Yes, CEREDERM dressings are designed to be used on fresh scars to promote optimal healing and reduce the risk of adhesions and complications.
Can they be worn in the shower or during physical activity?

How long can a CEREDERM dressing be worn?
