Our advice and opinions from pharmacy experts

Put an end to fatigue: fight against your deficiencies !
Fatigue can be caused by deficiencies, especially iron deficiency in women. If you have anemia, you can take iron supplements or favor iron-rich foods: seafood (cockles, clams, oyster, etc.), organ meats (veal liver, etc.), red meat and certain legumes (lentils, etc.). ).

Is your fatigue associated with stress and some sleep problems? A magnesium cure can also be a good remedy against fatigue, especially associated with other trace elements such as selenium or zinc. It is also possible to increase your magnesium intake by favoring mineral water or foods such as whole grains (buckwheat, whole wheat, etc.).

LEXICON (summary)

amino acids
Amino acids are the basic constituents of proteins. Some amino acids, called essential, can not be produced by the body and must therefore be brought by the diet.

alcohol
General name for a family of substances that have the property of being able to be mixed with water and fat. The most common alcohol is ethyl alcohol (ethanol), but there are many other alcohols: methanol, butanol, etc. The degree of an alcoholic solution corresponds to the volume of pure alcohol present in 100 ml of solution, knowing that 1 glass of wine flask or 1 half of beer (25 cl) contain about 8 g of alcohol.
When alcohol is used as an antiseptic, a denaturant with an unpleasant smell is often added to prevent it from being drunk. Contrary to popular belief, alcohol at 70o (or even at 60o) is a better antiseptic than alcohol at 90o.

antiasthenic
Drug that fights against fatigue (asthenia).

functional asthenia
General fatigue without detectable organ disease. It can occur during the convalescence of an illness or during certain stress.

adjunctive treatment
Treatment that complements the action of a specific treatment, but usually does not achieve cure alone.
