What is the Claricup Silicone Menstrual Cup size L for heavy periods?

An ideal alternative to tampons and sanitary pads, the Claricup Menstrual Cup is a menstrual cup that is inserted into the vagina to receive periods, suitable for all ages and all stages of life.

Claricup's silicone menstrual cup is an innovative, environmentally-friendly solution for managing heavy periods. Unlike tampons and sanitary pads, the Claricup is reusable, making it an environmentally-friendly choice. Made from high-quality medical silicone, this cup is soft and flexible, adapting perfectly to the female anatomy. It is available in different sizes to suit each woman's individual needs, ensuring a comfortable and secure fit.

By using the Claricup menstrual cup, you can say goodbye to the drawbacks of tampons and sanitary pads. Unlike tampons, which absorb not only blood but also the vagina's natural moisture, the Claricup does not disturb your body's natural balance. What's more, it significantly reduces the risk of toxic shock, a potentially serious hazard associated with prolonged tampon use. With Claricup, you can go about your daily activities in complete peace, without worrying about leaks or frequent changes of protection.

One of the key features of the Claricup menstrual cup is its ability to collect a greater quantity of menstrual flow than tampons and sanitary pads. Thanks to its bell-shaped design, it offers increased capacity while remaining comfortable to wear. This means fewer changes during the day and greater peace of mind. What's more, the Claricup is ideal for heavy periods, as it can hold up to three times more fluid than a regular-sized tampon, reducing the frequency of visits to the toilet.

By opting for the Claricup menstrual cup, you're also making an economical long-term choice. Unlike disposable tampons and sanitary pads, which require regular purchase, the Claricup can be reused for years with proper care. Not only do you save money in the long term, but you also help reduce the amount of plastic waste generated by disposable menstrual products. It's an investment in your health, your comfort and the environment.

Finally, the Claricup menstrual cup offers greater freedom and a better quality of life during your period. Unlike tampons and sanitary pads, it can be worn for up to twelve hours at a time, giving you reliable protection day and night. What's more, it's discreet and silent, so you can go about your daily business without any discomfort. When you choose Claricup, you're choosing a modern approach that respects your body, your budget and the environment, for more comfortable, worry-free periods.

How do I use this menstrual cup?

Before using for the first time

Clean the cup with mild soap and scald it for 5 minutes in plenty of water (a saucepan will do perfectly), so as not to burn it on the bottom, or place the Claricup™ menstrual cup stem down in its Claribox. Cover with water until marked. Leave the lid open and place the Claribox for 5 min at 750 Watt in the microwave.

Make sure all 4 perforations are correctly pierced.

Insertion

For the first few uses, you can either wet the cup (during a shower, for example), or use a water-based lubricant (the same as for intercourse).
You'll soon be able to insert your cup without lubricant or water.
These preliminaries will help you build your self-confidence.
Fold the cup and insert it like a tampon; if it's on right, it will unfold on its own.

Removing

When you remove your cup, first wash your hands thoroughly, get into a comfortable position and relax your vaginal muscles. If you can't reach the base of the cup, gently pull on the stem. You can gently push the cup with your vaginal muscles to help the Claricup descend. Be careful not to damage the stem with your fingernails. Remove the rim by pressing on the lower part of the cup, taking care not to spill the contents.

Care

For routine cleaning, we recommend that you first rinse your bowl in cold water (to avoid unpleasant odors and yellowing of the bowl).
You can then clean with a mild soap and hot water, or use the claribox.
Between cycles, scald the claribox in plenty of water for optimal cleaning.
