Properties of LCA Ceylon Cinnamon essential oil:
- Antibacterial: LCA Ceylon Cinnamon essential oil is remarkably effective against a wide range of pathogenic bacteria. Its active compounds act by disrupting the cellular mechanisms of bacteria, inhibiting their growth and proliferation. This antibacterial action makes it a valuable ally in the treatment of bacterial infections, offering a natural alternative to antibiotics.
- Antiviral: Thanks to its antiviral properties, this essential oil boosts the immune system by stimulating the production of immune cells such as lymphocytes. It also blocks viral replication, helping to reduce the duration and severity of viral infections such as colds, flu and respiratory infections.
- Antifungal: LCA Ceylon Cinnamon essential oil has powerful antifungal properties, enabling it to effectively combat fungal infections such as yeast infections and skin mycoses. Its active compounds penetrate fungal cell membranes, disrupting their function and leading to their elimination.
- Anti-parasitic: This essential oil is also effective against intestinal and skin parasites. Its active compounds act by disrupting the metabolism of parasites, resulting in their inability to feed and reproduce. It thus offers a natural, effective solution for eliminating parasites and restoring the body's equilibrium.
- Anti-fermentative: By reducing intestinal fermentation, this essential oil helps relieve gastrointestinal disorders such as bloating, flatulence and abdominal pain. Its anti-fermentation properties act by inhibiting the enzymes responsible for carbohydrate fermentation in the digestive tract, thus promoting better digestion.
- Uterine tonic and emmenagogue: Traditionally used to stimulate the uterus and regulate menstruation. Its active compounds act by promoting uterine muscle contraction, which can help relieve menstrual cramps and regulate irregular menstrual cycles. It is also reputed to facilitate childbirth by strengthening uterine contractions.
- Sexual tonic: Thanks to its aphrodisiac properties, this essential oil can stimulate libido and improve sexual function. Its active compounds act by stimulating blood circulation in the genitalia, which can increase sensitivity and sexual pleasure in both men and women.
- Respiratory and nervous stimulant: By encouraging deeper breathing, this essential oil helps to clear the airways and improve lung function. It also acts by stimulating the central nervous system, which can help improve concentration, alertness and mental clarity.
