OneTouch Select® Plus test strips are for use with the OneTouch Select® Plus blood glucose meter to measure the amount of glucose in the blood.

  • Sample volume: 1µl - 1 microliter.
  • Measuring range: from 20 to 600 mg/dL and hematocrit from 30 to 55%.
  • Reliable in a wide range of climatic conditions (non-condensing relative humidity 10 to 90%; operating temperature 6 to 44°C).
  • Results in 5 seconds.

Composition

  • Each test strip contains: glucose oxidase (Aspergillus niger) ≥ 0.08 IU; ferricyanide ≥ 22 μg; other ingredients (buffer, etc.).
  • The vial contains a desiccant.

Precautions for use

  • Do not use in the known or suspected presence of pralidoxime (PAM) in the patient' s whole blood sample, otherwise erroneous results may be obtained.
  • Do not use to diagnose or screen for diabetes, or in neonates.

  • Store test strips in a cool, dry place, at a temperature below 30°C. Protect from direct sunlight and all sources of heat. Do not store in the refrigerator.
  • Always keep your test strips in the original bottle; do not transfer them to another bottle or container.
  • After removing the OneTouch Select® Plus test strip from the bottle, immediately replace the cap on the bottle and close it tightly.
  • Use each strip immediately after removing it from the bottle.
  • Do not use test strips from bottles that have been damaged or exposed to the open air.
  • Do not use test strips after the expiration date indicated on the packaging.
  • Test strips should be used only once. Do not reuse a test strip that has already been used to test a control solution or blood.
  • Check that the temperature of the meter and test strip are close together before testing.
  • Only apply OneTouch Select® Plus control solution or blood to the strip.
  • Do not bend, cut or damage OneTouch Select® Plus test strips.

How do I use ONE TOUCH SELECT+ Blood Glucose Test Strips?
Simply insert a strip into your meter, then draw a drop of blood using the lancet supplied. Then apply the drop of blood to the test area of the strip and wait for the result.

Are these strips compatible with all blood glucose meters?
ONE TOUCH SELECT+ Blood Glucose Test Strips are compatible with the same brand of blood glucose meters. Be sure to check your meter's compatibility before use.

How long do the results stay on the meter?
Blood glucose results are usually displayed on the meter for a few minutes, but this may vary depending on the specific meter model. Please consult your meter's user manual for more information.
