What is Gemmo Allergies Aquagemm Blackcurrant Birch Beech used for?

This macerate of Blackcurrant, Birch and Beech naturally combats sneezing, itching, respiratory problems and asthma caused by pollen allergies. Each of these plants has powerful anti-inflammatory properties that calm and soothe the respiratory system, interrupt irritating coughs, and effectively combat itchy or runny noses and eyes.

Gemmoallergies is recommended as a course of treatment when plants are pollinated or when an allergenic molecule (hair, down, etc.) is present. At the same time, it's important to find out about your allergic terrain from a specialist.

Gemmo Allergies Aquagemm is a phytotherapeutic preparation designed to combat various types of allergy. This liquid solution exploits gemmotherapy, a branch of phytotherapy that uses macerates of buds and young shoots from trees and bushes. The product combines extracts of blackcurrant (Ribes nigrum), birch (Betula spp.) and beech (Fagus sylvatica).

  • Blackcurrant (Ribes nigrum): Rich in flavonoids and fatty acids, this bud is known for its anti-inflammatory and immunomodulating properties.
  • Birch (Betula spp.): Contains triterpenes and flavonoids that confer diuretic and detoxifying properties.
  • Beech (Fagus sylvatica): A source of tannins, phenolic acids and flavonoids, this bud has anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties.

The botanical extracts included in Gemmo Allergies Aquagemm, namely blackcurrant, birch and beech, provide a range of pharmacological benefits specifically geared to the management of allergic symptoms.

  • Anti-inflammatory properties: The active compounds extracted from blackcurrant and beech have pronounced anti-inflammatory effects. These effects are likely to diminish the symptoms associated with cutaneous or respiratory allergies by reducing tissue inflammation.
  • Immune modulation: Blackcurrant is particularly well known for its immunomodulatory role. This activity can prove beneficial in regulating allergic responses, notably by attenuating the immune system's hyper-reactivity to allergens.
  • Promotes diuresis and detoxification: Birch is involved in the body's diuresis and detoxification mechanisms. It helpseliminate toxins and metabolic waste, thereby contributing to the body's overall physiological balance.
  • Antioxidant activities: Beech buds have antioxidant properties that strengthen endogenous defenses against oxidative stress, often associated with allergic reactions.
