Description of DRILL 24 anesthetic lozenges & antiseptics

This medicine is recommended in case of a sore throat and without fever, canker sores and small sores of the mouth.

Advice for use and dosage

Dosage:

Reserved for adults and children over 6 years old.
The catches must be spaced at least 2 hours apart.

  • Adults: 1 lozenge to suck, 4 times per 24 hours.
  • Children from 6 to 15 years: 1 lozenge to be sucked 2 to 3 times per 24 hours.

Oral way. Suck slowly pastilles without chewing, away from meals.

Composition

The active substances are :

Chlorhexidine gluconate .................. 3 mg
Tetracaine hydrochloride ................. 0.2 mg

The other ingredients are : sodium ascorbate, sucrose, liquid glucose, ammonium glycyrrhizinate, tartaric acid, lemon flavor (citral, citronellal, geraniol, essential oils of orange, lemon, verbena, geranium, dlimonene, linalool, alpha-pinene, beta-pinene, terpinolene), mint flavor (ethyl, hexyl, isoamyl, benzyl, cishexenyl, 2-methyl-valeric acid, anethole, ethyl butyrate, 1-carvone, anisyl formate, ethyl formate, cis-hex-3-ene-1-ol, essential oils of eucalyptus, curly mint, peppermint, 4-hydroxy-2,5-dimethyl-3 (2H) furanone, PG p-hydroxyphenylbutanone, beta-ionone, menthol, 1, 15-pentadecalactone, isoamyl propionate, propylene glycol, absolute pink, 1- (2,6,6-trimethykydohex-1-enyl) -but-2-enone 3-hydroxy-2-methyl-pyrone), quinoline yellow.

Precaution of use

These medicines should not be used in case of known allergy to local anesthetics and chlorhexidine or other components and in children under 6 years of age.
Take special care with these drugs:
Anesthesia caused by these drugs in the throat can promote false roads [coughing during a meal with the impression of "swallowing crooked") during swallowing of food.
