Gynositol Polycystic Ovaries 30 sachets contain folic acid (vitamin B9) and myo-inositol, which help combat polycystic ovary syndrome.

What is Gynositol Polycystic Ovaries in sachets used for?

This dietary supplement for fertility enhancement and pregnancy is formulated for women. It is a foodstuff for special medical purposes based on myo-inositol and vitamin B9 (5-MTHF) for the nutritional needs of women with polycystic ovaries who wish to become pregnant. It is indicated for preconception and pregnancy. Gynositol contains myo-inositol, a sugar synthesized naturally by the human body and supplied by the diet.

Gynositol also contains vitamin B9 (5-MTHF), a member of the folate family. Low folate status in the mother increases the risk of malformations in the developing foetus (neural tube defects). Gynositol's vitamin B9 (5-MTHF) is the biologically active form directly assimilated by all women. A vitamin B9 (5-MTHF) supplement of 400 μg per day is recommended at least 1 month before and up to 3 months after conception.

A dietary supplement tailored to the specific needs of pregnant women.

Gynositol is specially formulated to meet the specific needs of pregnant women and women in the pre-conception period. Its balanced composition of myo-inositol and vitamin B9 makes it an ideal choice for women with PCOS looking to improve their fertility and promote a healthy pregnancy. By providing essential nutrients for hormonal balance and fetal development, Gynositol supports women's reproductive health and offers them the best chance of conceiving and carrying a pregnancy to term.

We also recommend Gestarelle Fertility for healthy fertility and reproduction.

How do I take this fertility supplement?

Our advice and expert pharmacy opinions

Pregnancy is the result of two concordant elements: the meeting of an oocyte and a spermatozoon. It can only take place at the moment of ovulation.
Female fertility problems are most often due to ovulation disorders. It's a question of preserving the ovaries' stock of eggs, defined at birth, as effectively as possible.

The sign of good ovulation

The date of ovulation is only known thanks to an a posteriori calculation. It occurs 14 days before the first day of menstruation. Menstruation is therefore proof that ovulation has taken place. If no oocyte has been fertilized, no pregnancy is underway. The lining of the uterine mucosa, ready to receive an egg, detaches and leaks out. This is called menstruation. A phenomenon produced by a drop in progesterone levels.
