What is Bucadog Oral Hygiene for Dogs and Cats 70g?

3 objectives:

  • Prevent plaque build-up
  • Prevent tartar build-up
  • Fight bad breath

Bucadog Htgiène Bucco-Dentaire pour Chien et Chat 70g is an enzymatic toothpaste that activates the natural defenses of the oral cavity in dogs and cats. These natural defenses are reinforced by the specific action of the enzyme complex in the oral cavity. The abrasive elements in the paste, combined with chewing and the mechanical action of the dog's tongue, also reduce plaque and bad breath. The consistency of Bucadog® paste encourages chewing, and the addition of malt makes the productpalatable to dogs.

Bucadog Oral Hygiene contains an enzyme complex specially formulated to target dental problems. This complex includes enzymes such as amylase, glucose oxidase and lactoperoxidase. These enzymes work synergistically to break down food residues and plaque particles that can accumulate on your pet's teeth.

In addition to the main enzyme complex, this product contains a synergistic enzyme complex that includes lysozyme and lactoferrin. These enzymes play an essential role in protecting against bacteria and infection. They help maintain a healthy oral environment by reducing the growth of undesirable micro-organisms.

Bucadog Oral Hygiene contains gentle abrasives, such as silica oxide and dicalcium phosphate. These abrasives are used to help remove plaque and tartar, while being gentle enough not to damage your pet's tooth enamel. They help keep teeth clean and healthy.

Bucadog Oral Hygiene works proactively to support your dog or cat's oral health. Here's how it works:

  1. Plaque and tartar decomposition: Enzymes in the product break down food residues and plaque, helping to prevent tartar build-up. This helps reduce the risk of dental problems such as gingivitis and periodontal disease.
  2. Protection against bacteria: The synergistic enzyme complex acts as a protective barrier, preventing the overgrowth of bacteria in your pet's mouth. This reduces the risk of oral infections and bad breath.
  3. Gentle cleaning: the mild abrasives contained in the product offer gentle cleaning of teeth, removing unwanted particles without damaging tooth enamel. This helps keep teeth clean and healthy.

Clément Thékan veterinary laboratory also offers Calmocanil spray at the best price in our online pharmacy.

Our advice and expert opinions

Bad breath (halitosis) in dogs and cats is one of the most common complaints from owners. It's caused by dental plaque and the accumulation of food scraps. Veterinary diagnosis will enable us to rule out other possible causes (kidney, metabolic, digestive problems, etc.).

Getting your dog or cat used to brushing as soon as possible

There's no denying that brushing your dog's teeth is no picnic. Some dogs and cats will be cooperative, others less so... and still others not at all!
The sooner your pet gets used to letting you handle it, without getting upset or insisting too much at first, the easier it will be later on.
At first, you can make a game of it, and start touching the puppy's or kitten's mouth, lips, gums and teeth (without brushing them right away, especially if they still have milk teeth).
You can also rub the teeth/gums with a compress or cotton bud dipped in a can of tuna.
