Description of OMRON EVOLV Bluetooth connected cuff sphygmomanometer

Omron Evolv Bluetooth Connected Blood Pressure Monitor is a self-contained device for measuring blood pressure that can be used daily by patients who require special monitoring .
It can transfer your measurements to your smartphone, allowing you to track your results, monitor your progress, and better understand your health data over time.
Thanks to Intellisense technology, the EVOLV automatically inflates the cuff optimally. The guide lets you know if your cuff is positioned correctly (indicates if the cuff is too tight or too tight).
EVOLV's Body Motion Detection feature tells you if your movements during tensioning have affected the reliability of the results.
This monitor also detects irregular beats .
It can now be recommended for pregnant women and women with preeclampsia .
The size of the cuff is: 22 to 42 cm in diameter.
You can store up to 100 values in the internal storage.

Advice for use and dosage

Simply place it on the arm using the adjustable Velcro cuff and press the Start button. Thanks to its Bluetooth connection button, once the measurement is done, it can be connected to a smartphone to collect the information and thus offer the patient accurate monitoring of its various measures.
Its small size and battery powered system make it very convenient and usable anywhere. In addition, in order not to distort the results, a signal indicates whether the cuff is positioned correctly or not.

Our advice and expert advice in pharmacy

High blood pressure is an increase in blood pressure in the arteries. This increase is defined by:
a systolic blood pressure number (the heart contracts and propels the blood in the arteries) greater than or equal to 14 (140 mm of mercury (symbol Hg));
and a diastolic blood pressure (heart relaxes), greater than or equal to 9 (90 mm Hg).
Arterial hypertension is usually not accompanied by any symptoms, so it is referred to as a "silent killer".

As a risk factor for cardiovascular disease, high blood pressure is not a disease in itself. On the other hand, it requires support to prevent any long-term problem.
Being hypertensive therefore increases the risk of heart failure, myocardial infarction, stroke and kidney failure.
