What is Mycohydralin 500 mg 1 vaginal tablet used for?

Vaginal mycosis is a common infection caused by a disturbance in the vaginal flora. Although women may experience repeated episodes of mycosis, they are generally harmless. However, the discomfort they cause is no less distressing in everyday life.

Fungus is a fungus, most often Candida albicans, but sometimes also Candida glabrata. Its presence can be diagnosed by symptoms such as redness and itching, often associated with an unusual white, lumpy discharge reminiscent of curdled milk, whitish and odorless. This is known as leucorrhoea. Difficulty evacuating the bladder (dysuria), excessive frequency of urination (pollakiuria) and burning during urination have also been observed.

Follow the instructions provided by your healthcare professional. In general, one vaginal tablet is inserted deep into the vagina once a day, preferably in the evening at bedtime, for the recommended duration of treatment.

Symptoms of vaginal mycosis may begin to improve in the first few days of treatment. However, it is important to continue treatment for the full recommended duration to ensure complete healing.

Side effects of Mycohydralin 500 mg are rare, but may include vaginal irritation or allergic reactions in some sensitive individuals. If you experience persistent side effects, please consult your health care professional.
