Scientific name: Equisetum arvense L.
Part used: the sterile aerial part (rod)
Plant / extract ratio: 4 to 7 kg of plants are necessary to obtain 1 kg of dry horsetail extract

The Horsetail is part of a family of plants already present more than 250 million years ago. This medicinal species can be confused with the poisonous Horsetail, hence the absolute need for control by a botanist.
URINARY DISPOSAL
The extract of stem of Horsetail, carrier of fine and stiff twigs, is traditionally used to facilitate the functions of urinary elimination.
This medication is not recommended during pregnancy and lactation. If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine.
