Ladrôme Spray Anti-Moustiques is an essential oil-based repellent that keeps mosquitoes away so you can enjoy summer to the full.

What is Ladrôme Spray Anti-Moustiques used for?

The anti-mosquito spray acts as a repellent against mosquitoes in infested, temperate and tropical zones. Its effectiveness is laboratory-tested:

  • up to 5h30 on tiger mosquitoes (Aedes albopictus)
  • 6h on Culex pipiens
  • 5h on Aedes aegypti, Anopheles gambiae.

With its fresh, invigorating notes, this synergy of organic essential oils will pleasantly perfume your home. This mosquito repellent spray is made from 5 organic essential oils with fresh notes: Java citronella, lemon eucalyptus, lemongrass, palmarosa, geranium cv bourbon.

Home fragrance certified by Ecocert.

Java citronella: Mosquito repellent properties

Java citronella has long been recognized for its mosquito repellent properties. Its essential oil is extracted from the leaves of the Cymbopogon winterianus plant, native to Southeast Asia. This plant produces an essence with a characteristic odour that naturally repels mosquitoes. Java citronella acts by disrupting the olfactory system of mosquitoes, preventing them from locating their human prey. Its repellent action makes it an essential ingredient in protective products against mosquito bites.

Eucalyptus Citronné: Natural insect repellent

Lemon eucalyptus, also known by its scientific name Corymbia citriodora, is a species of eucalyptus native to Australia. Its essential oil is renowned for its refreshing lemon scent, which acts as a natural insect repellent. The components of lemon eucalyptus, notably citronellal, give this plant powerful repellent properties against mosquitoes, flies and other harmful insects. By releasing its fragrance, lemon eucalyptus creates an olfactory barrier that deters insects from approaching treated areas.

Lemongrass: Freshness and Mosquito Protection

Lemongrass is a herbaceous plant belonging to the Poaceae family. Its essential oil is extracted from the plant's leaves, which give off a fresh, lemony fragrance. In addition to its pleasant fragrance, lemongrass has mosquito repellent properties. Its distinctive scent acts as a powerful deterrent to flying insects, keeping them away from treated areas. Lemongrass is often used in mosquito repellent formulations to offer natural protection while providing a sensation of freshness and liveliness.

Palmarosa: Reinforcing repellent action

Palmarosa, or Cymbopogon martinii var. motia, is a plant native to India and Pakistan, whose essential oil is extracted from the leaves and stems. In addition to its antiseptic and healing properties, palmarosa is also recognized for its mosquito repellent properties. In combination with other repellent essential oils, such as citronella and lemongrass, palmarosa enhances the repellent action of anti-mosquito formulations. Its delicate scent also adds a pleasant fragrance to insect-bite protection products.

Geranium CV Bourbon: Delicate, fragrant protection

Geranium Bourbon, or Pelargonium graveolens, is a plant native to South Africa, whose essential oil is extracted from the leaves and flowers. Known for its antifungal, antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties, Geranium Bourbon essential oil also has mosquito repellent properties. Its delicate, floral fragrance adds a pleasant touch to anti-mosquito formulations, while offering effective protection against insect bites. Its subtle repellent action makes it an ideal ingredient for mosquito protection products, leaving a soft, natural fragrance on the skin.
