What does this eye drop contain?

Per unit dose: Picloxydine (INN) hydrochloride 5 mg 0.2 mg
(i.e. in picloxydine: 4.34 mg/vial and 0.173 mg/unidose)

What are the side effects and contraindications?

Do not use this product if you have a known allergy to any of its components.

The tip of the unidose must not come into contact with the eye.
Avoid wearing contact lenses for the duration of treatment if your eye is infected.
Vitabact, unidose is formulated without preservatives. It should therefore be used as soon as opened, and discarded after use.

In the event of simultaneous treatment with another eye drop, it is necessary to wait 15 minutes between the 2 instillations.
Tell your doctor if you are taking, or have recently taken, any other medication, even if obtained without a prescription.

Vitabact, single dose should be used with caution by pregnant or breast-feeding women.
