What is the Keat wireless perineal electrostimulator used for?

This medical device from Majorelle Laboratories is designed to treat female urinary incontinence. This electrostimulation device is intended for home use. It operates wirelessly and requires no power cord. Electrostimulation helps rehabilitate the perineum after childbirth or due to age-related loss of muscle tone, simply by stimulating the sphincter, urethra, and anal muscles. It is a simple and well-established method.

This perineal electrostimulator is effective for three types of incontinence: stress urinary incontinence, urge incontinence(also known as urinary urgency), and mixed incontinence. It features four programs: one for each type of incontinence, and an automatic program. In the stress mode, it stimulates the pelvic floor muscles to improve urethral closure. In the urge mode, it reduces bladder contractions. Your doctor will determine which program to use.

The Keat perinealelectrostimulator comes in a case containing a probe. It is very easy to use, with just two buttons. Before inserting the probe, select the desired program. Once the probe is in place, adjust the intensity. A lubricating gel will make handling easier. Since it’s wireless, it’s easy to use. It allows you to perform perineal rehabilitation at home without having to visit a physical therapist or midwife.

The device is powered by batteries that cannot be replaced. It is designed to provide 230 cycles of use, which corresponds to a 10-week treatment followed by six 4-week maintenance treatments.

Urinary incontinence is the inability to control urination. It is considered incontinence when it causes discomfort that impairs one’s quality of life. Urinary incontinence is not a condition that affects only older adults. Although the incidence of incontinence increases significantly after age 40, this condition is less common in young, athletic, and active women. There are various causes for these leaks: the main causes include loss of muscle tone, weakening of the pelvic floor muscles located below the bladder, or involuntary bladder contractions.

The Keat wireless perineal electrostimulator offers an effective and convenient solution for treating various types of urinary incontinence. Thanks to its wireless design, it allows you to benefit from electrostimulation therapy wherever you are, without being restricted by wires or cables, giving you complete freedom of movement during your treatment session.

Keat is effective for three common types of urinary incontinence:

  • Stress Urinary Incontinence: This type of incontinence occurs during physical exertion such as coughing, sneezing, or laughing, and is characterized by involuntary urine leakage.
  • Urge Incontinence: Also known as urgent urination, this form of incontinence is characterized by a sudden, urgent need to urinate, often accompanied by involuntary leakage.
  • Mixed Incontinence: This type of incontinence combines the symptoms of stress urinary incontinence and urge incontinence, resulting in both leakage during physical exertion and leakage associated with a sudden, urgent need to urinate.

Simple and intuitive, Keat lets you start your treatment session in just a few simple steps. Simply select the program suited to your type of incontinence, position the device according to the provided instructions, and adjust the intensity to your personal comfort level. With Keat, you can enjoy effective, personalized electrostimulation therapy in the comfort of your own home.

Results may vary from person to person, but most users notice a significant improvement after a few weeks of regular use. Yes, Keat is safe to use when used according to the instructions provided. It is recommended that you consult a healthcare professional before starting any new treatment program.

Keat can be used in conjunction with other treatments for urinary incontinence, but it is recommended that you consult a healthcare professional for personalized advice on the best treatment approach for your specific situation.

We also recommend the PIC-Solution GLUCOTEST Test Strips B/50, an effective blood glucose meterthat will make it easierto monitoryour bloodsugar levelsregularly.
