Insecticide-free treatments act mechanically, blocking the respiratory orifices of adult lice and nits and causing their death by asphyxiation. The solution is applied part by part to a dry scalp, and the application time varies from 10 minutes to 12 hours, depending on the product. Shake well for 10 seconds.
