What is Pranarom Cistus ladaniferus Essential Oil 5ml used for?

Cistus ladaniferus essential oil has astringent and haemostatic properties. Cicatrisant, the essential oil can be used pure on a cotton swab for epistaxis or small wounds. Used in dermatology and immunology, it is antibacterial, antiviral and immunomodulating. It also regulates the parasympathetic nervous system.

This essential oil is used in the following therapeutic indications:

  • Locally: epistaxis, cuts, wounds, recent scars, acne, infected wounds, anal fissures, eruptive viral diseases (chickenpox, measles).
  • Used in preparations to combat skin ageing, wrinkles and stretch marks, thanks to its astringent and skin toning properties.
  • Some therapists recommend it for autoimmune diseases.

Ciste ladanifère essential oil has powerful antimicrobial properties, making it a valuable ally in the fight against infections.
