What is Beaphar Fiprotec Spot-On For Dogs used for?
Spot-on solution for small dogs is a curative and preventive treatment for flea infestations (Ctenocephalides felis). Protection against flea infestation lasts 5 weeks. The solution protects dogs against new tick infestations (Dermacentor reticulatus, Rhipicephalus sanguineus) from the 7th to the 28th day after use. Do not use on cats.
Beaphar veterinary laboratory also offers Fiprotec pipettes for medium-sized dogs at the best price in our online pharmacy.
How to use these pipettes?
Hold pipette vertically. Tap the narrow part of the pipette to ensure that the contents are in the main part of the pipette. Cut pipette tip with scissors. Part the hair between the shoulder blades and at the base of the head so that the skin is visible. Place the pipette tip on the skin and press gently to empty half the contents onto the skin in the 2 application areas. Avoid applying the solution to the coat, and do not rub the skin. Special care must be taken to avoid excessive wetting of the hair with the product, which can cause the hair to stick to the treated area. However, should this occur, it will disappear within 24 to 48 hours of application. In the absence of safety studies, the minimum treatment interval is 4 weeks.
