The active ingredients are sodium benzoate 2.040 g, sodium salicylate 0.090 g, borax 2.000 g, thymol 0.037 g, cineole 0.075 g, levomenthol 0.037 g per 100 g mouthwash solution. Other active ingredients include Scots pine essential oil, sodium bicarbonate, glycerol, alcohol, polysorbate 80, cochineal red A (E 124) and purified water.

What are the side effects and contraindications?

For external use only. Do not swallow. Store in a clean, dry place away from heat, humidity and light. Keep out of reach of children.

Glyco-thymoline mouthwash is contraindicated in cases of allergy to salicylates or other related drugs (anti-inflammatory drugs or aspirin) or to any of the ingredients of this mouthwash. Please note that this product contains an azo dye, cochineal red A (E124), which may cause allergic reactions. It is also contraindicated for children under six years of age.

Warning: certain constituents of this medicine (eucalyptol, menthol, thymol), taken in high doses, may cause neurological accidents such as convulsions in children. Please follow the instructions carefully.

If symptoms worsen, such as fever, or if there is no improvement after five days, seek medical advice.
