What is Nat & Form Alfalfa used for?

Alfalfa is a perennial herbaceous plant native to Central Asia. In phytotherapy, it is valued for its nutritional qualities. Alfalfa, also known as alfalfa, is a uniquely nutritious wholefood, and was known in ancient Arab civilizations as "the father of all foods". It was cultivated 9000 years ago on the plateaus of the Caucasus. Nat & Form Original Alfalfa is a dietary supplement based on Alfalfa. Nat & Form Alfalfa is a dietary supplement that promotes general stimulation of the body and remineralization. Nat & Form Alfalfa capsules are ideal for skin, nail and hair care, effectively cultivating your natural beauty.

Alfalfa is traditionally used as a general stimulant for its high protein, vitamin and mineral content. Known as alfalfa, alfalfa is a nutrient-rich plant. A source of proteins, amino acids, minerals and numerous trace elements, it also has antioxidant properties.

Young alfalfa shoots have always been eaten in Asia. Alfalfa has a high antioxidant capacity, higher than that of most vegetables. It is one of the few foods to contain coumestrol, a plant compound that plays an estrogen-like role.

Also known as alfalfa, alfalfa is a nutrient-rich plant. A source of protein, amino acids, minerals and numerous trace elements, it has antioxidant properties. Ideal for skin, nail and hair care, it effectively cultivates your natural beauty. Alfalfa is an excellent general stimulant. Its remineralizing effects improve problems of brittle nails and dull, split or brittle hair, as well as asthenia (general fatigue).

Alfalfa is mainly used for its rich mineral and trace element content: calcium, silica, iron, phosphorus, as well as copper, zinc and selenium. These components make it an invaluable aid in the fight against asthenia (generalized fatigue) and anemia. Thanks to the minerals it contains, alfalfa is also very useful for problems of brittle hair, dull hair and brittle nails. For many years now, alfalfa has also been recognized for its vitamin K content and anti-hemorrhagic effect.

Regular intake of alfalfa prevents hypercholesterolemia and atherosclerosis. Alfalfa also contains a plant estrogen: cournestrol. The hormonal action of cournestrol, combined with the calcium and silica present in alfalfa, is an interesting approach to menopausal disorders and osteoporosis prevention.

AFSSA (Agence Française de Sécurité Sanitaire des Aliments) considers alfalfa to have estrogenic activity in vitro and in vivo, thanks to the presence of coumestanes. In fact, coumestrol and 4-methoxycoumestrol bind to estrogen receptors and display uterotrophic activity.

A study on monkeys shows that alfalfa saponosides :

  • significantly reduce intestinal cholesterol absorption and plasma total ratiocholesterol/HDL (High Density Lipoprotein) cholesterol
  • increase fecal excretion of steroids and bile acids. Alfalfa prevents LDL (Low Density Lipoprotein) oxidation in vivo via the synergistic action of flavonoids and phytoestrogens.

Alfalfa is traditionally used in the treatment of diabetes. This action has been demonstrated in vivo in diabetic mouse models. Alfalfa stimulates the incorporation of glucose in the form of glycogen into the abdominal muscle, and has properties similar to those of insulin.
