Magnesium and manganese are among the minerals required for the body to function properly. Magnesium plays a role in cell division, while manganese helps protect cells against oxidative stress.
Description of Verrulyse Methionine Manganese Magnesium Tablets
Verrulyse Methionine Tablets are a dietary supplement indicated for the adjunctive treatment of warts.
These skin growths, known as cutaneous warts, are caused by contamination of the skin by a virus known as the " Human Papillomavirus " (HPV), which exists in different types. This virus infects the skin by abnormally stimulating the production of keratin (the protein required for hair and nail growth), whose overproduction extends to the upper layers of the epidermis. In particular, this overproduction of keratinocytes is responsible for the rigid, granular appearance of warts as we know them.
Directions for use Verrulyse-methionine
The main source of wart contagion is the skin lesion itself, due to the dissemination of HPV-infected epidermal scales into the environment. The main reservoir of the virus is therefore the wart-bearing individual. Human-to-human transmission is most often direct via skin contact, facilitated by skin abrasions and/or dry skin.
Certain environmental factors seem to play an important role in the spread of warts, such as humid environments (swimming pools, gyms, sweating feet), close contact between individuals (schooling), family size (the larger the family, the more frequent the warts), communal living and living in rural areas. Certain professions also favor the proliferation of warts, notably those handling meat, poultry and fish (slaughterhouses, butchers, veterinarians).

Your expert pharmacist's advice
When should I take a wart treatment?
- If you're really bothered by your wart, or don't have the courage to try a home treatment, a consultation with a dermatologist can get rid of it.
- Don't be in a hurry to resort to cold treatment, as this is a painful procedure. Laser treatment is also painful and can leave scars.
- This is less painful than cryotherapy, and more effective than over-the-counter treatments because it's more concentrated.
