Modilac Expert Riz AR 1er Age 800 g is a rice-based milk for infants intolerant to cow's milk.

What is Modilac Expert Riz AR 1er Age used for?

Modilac Expert Riz AR 1 is a food product designed for medical purposes. This milk is adapted to the needs of infants from birth up to 6 months. It is recommended for babies allergic to cow's milk proteins, or in cases of lactose intolerance, often accompanied by regurgitation.

Modilac Expert Riz AR 1 is formulated with hydrolyzed rice proteins to meet the needs of babies allergic to cow's milk proteins . Allergic babies can suffer from digestive and respiratory problems, as well as skin problems such as eczema and urticaria. Modilac Expert Riz AR 1 is also lactose-free for children intolerant to this sugar.

Modilac Expert Riz AR 1 adds carob seed flour andcorn starch to reduce babies' regurgitation. Starch absorbs water, causing the food bolus tothicken in the stomach. The thickening properties of carob pulp are linked to the presence of a sugar called galactomannan. Carob seed flour is also a thickener.

We also recommend Modilac Expert Riz AR 2ème Age 800 g, a rice-based milk for infants intolerant to cow's milk.

How to use this formulated rice milk?

Carefully clean bottle, cap and teat. Pour the required amount of water into the bottle. Use bottled water with low mineral content. For best reconstitution, water should be lukewarm (maximum 40°C) before adding the powder.

Fill the measuring scoop in the can with powder, then press it against the rim of the can.

Add the corresponding number of level scoops of powder to the water, in the correct proportion: 1 scoop to 30 ml of water.

Stopper the bottle and, to facilitate dissolution, roll it between your hands, then shake vigorously. Before feeding, check the temperature of the infant milk by pouring a few drops onto your wrist.

Quantities: Bottles should be prepared according to baby's weight rather than age. This dosing table gives average daily quantities for guidance only. Follow your doctor's advice to adapt your baby's intake to his or her needs.
