What is Fyperix Combo 50/60 mg Spot On Cats and Ferrets used for?

Fyperix Combo 50/60 mg Spot On Cats and Ferrets is an antiparasitic designed to meet the preventive and curative needs of cats and ferrets.

Fyperix Combo enables cats to :

Treatment of flea infestations alone or mixed infestations with fleas and ticks and/or chewing lice:

  • Eradication of fleas(Ctenocephalides spp.). Effective against new adult flea infestations for 4 weeks. Prevents flea proliferation by inhibiting the development of eggs (ovicidal activity), larvae and pupae (larvicidal activity) from eggs laid by adult fleas for 6 weeks after application.
  • Eradication of ticks(Ixodes ricinus, Dermacentor variabilis, Rhipicephalus sanguineus). This antiparasitic offers acaricidal efficacy against ticks for up to 2 weeks.
  • Eradication of chewing lice(Felicola subrostratus).

Fyperix Combo can be combined with a Flea Allergy Dermatitis Program (FADP), if previously diagnosed by your veterinarian.

Fyperix Combo is ideal for ferrets:

Treatment of flea contamination alone or mixed flea and tick contamination:

  • Eradication of fleas(Ctenocephalides spp.). The insecticide is effective against new adult flea infections for 4 weeks. Prevents flea multiplication by inhibiting the development of eggs (ovicidal activity) and larvae and pupae (larvicidal activity) from eggs laid by adult fleas.
  • Eradication of ticks(Ixodes ricinus). This product provides an acaricidal action against ticks that lasts 4 weeks.

How to eliminate fleas and ticks?

For external use only, spot-on.

One 0.5 ml pipette per cat, corresponding to the minimum recommended dose of 5 mg fipronil per kg bodyweight and 6 mg (S)-methoprene per kg bodyweight, for topical application to the skin.

In the absence of safety data, the minimum treatment interval is 4 weeks.

One 0.5 ml pipette per ferret, corresponding to the minimum recommended dose of 50 mg fipronil per kg bodyweight and 60 mg (S)-methoprene per ferret, for topical application to the skin.

The minimum treatment interval is 4 weeks.
