Homeopathic remedies in tubular granules or globular doses can be used for a variety of symptoms, so it is not possible to determine the indications and dosage of a specific preparation.
Cedron is a homeopathic remedy whose mother tincture is prepared from the fresh seeds of Cedron, a shrub of the Simarubaceae family. Native to tropical America, this shrub generally grows in marshy areas. It is one of America's most prized plants, providing a highly effective antidote to venomous snake bites and insect stings. This homeopathic remedy is mainly indicated for the treatment of neuralgic pain, generally periodic, affecting the eyes, ears and head.
The homeopathic physician selects the appropriate medicine, dilution and dosage according to the patient's state of health and characteristic symptoms.
Cedron is recommended for orbital, facial and nasal neuralgia, where liquid flows from the nose and eyes. Buzzing and inflamed ears can be cured by taking this remedy. Cedron is prescribed in cases of fever accompanied by violent pain in the limbs, with chills and headaches around 18 hours. Malaria attacks with anemia, as well as hysterical spasms appearing every morning and evening, can be alleviated by using this remedy.
It can also be used to relieve inflammation of the throat and coughing, leading to chest pain.
Remove tab, invert tube and pull cap slightly.
Turn the tube to drop the desired number of granules into the cap, then place the granules under the tongue.
Do not touch the granules or globules with your fingers.
To treat orbital, facial and nasal neuralgia, take 3 granules of Cedron 5 CH every morning, noon and evening. To alleviate ringing and inflammation of the ears, take 3 Cedron 7 CH granules twice a day.
In case of fever with pain in the limbs, Cedron 15 CH can be taken once or twice a day. If the fever is accompanied by chills and headaches, a dose ofHyoscyamus 15 CH and a dose ofHepar 15 CH should be added to the treatment, to be taken once or twice a day. Malaria attacks and hysterical spasms, generally occurring in the morning and evening, can be treated with Cedron 4 CH 3 granules, morning, noon and night.
To soothe inflammation of the throat, with coughing and chest pains, take 3 granules of Cedron 5 CH, 3 granules of Lycopodium 5 CH and 3 granules of Calcarea 5 CH simultaneously, 3 times a day.
The globules of the dose tubes are absorbed in one go, dissolving slowly under the tongue. If no dose is available, take 10 granules of the same dilution.
Do not take astringent substances within half an hour of taking homeopathic medicines, such as coffee, tobacco, camphor, mint and chamomile.
Use a mint-free toothpaste (such as Homéodent Boiron, which is compatible with homeopathic granules).

Pregnant women can use homeopathic remedies without any known risk to themselves or their unborn child, but it is advisable to seek advice.
For acute conditions, homeopathic remedies should be taken every hour until symptoms improve. From then on, they should be taken 3 or 4 times a day, spaced out, and then gradually stopped.
For chronic conditions, low-dilution remedies (> 9CH) should be taken 1 or 2 times a day, while basic remedies should be taken once a week, or even once a month. This decision is left to the homeopath.
Certain pathologies cannot be treated with homeopathy simply by self-medication. Their severity requires medical advice from a homeopathic doctor. This doctor will judge whether your condition can be treated with homeopathy alone, or whether your treatment needs to be supplemented with allopathic medicine.
