Applying our dressings is simple and effective. Start by carefully cleaning and drying the scarred area. Carefully remove the protective film from the dressing and apply it to the raised scar. Make sure the dressing completely covers the area to be treated. If necessary, adjust the size of the dressing and secure it in place with an adhesive or elastic bandage. For best results, wear the dressing for at least 12 hours a day, up to 23 hours. Clean the dressing daily before reapplying it. Each box of Kelo-Cote® dressings provides approximately 3 weeks' treatment.
